Stair refinishing

Refinishing an existing hardwood staircase requires:

Remove all posts, handrails and balusters.

Sand hardwood surface to bare wood.

Apply stain and topcoat finishes (often 4 coats), requires appropriate drying times.

Install new or original posts and rails.
